Allient Inc. today said it will showcase its advanced motion solutions at the Robotics Summit & Expo, which is in Boston on May 27 and 28. The global designer and manufacturer of specialty motion, controls, and power products and solutions for targeted industries and applications will be at Booth 222 at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center.

“Allient will showcase its motion technologies and integrated solutions for robotics and automation applications,” stated Robert Mastromattei, chief commercial officer and group president at Allient. “The combination of precision components, integrated platforms, and live demonstrations highlights the performance and precision required across advanced robotics systems.”

Allient said it engineers and makes systems to drive the future of market-moving industries, including medical, life sciences, aerospace and defense, industrial automation, robotics, semiconductor, transportation, agriculture, construction, and facility infrastructure. The family of globally responsible companies said it takes a “one-team” approach to “connect what matters” and claimed that provides the most robust, reliable, and high-value products and systems by utilizing its core motion, controls, and power technologies and platforms.

Amherst, N.Y.-based Allient employs more than 2,500 team members around the world.

Allient to show motion controls

At the Robotics Summit & Expo, the company will feature live and static demonstrations of its motion integration and system capabilities, including:

  • Pyxmos demo: Pyxmos drive operating a frameless motor in a compact tabletop unit
  • Integrated servo: Custom integrated HeiMotion Dynamic motor, demonstrating Allient’s ability to integrate motor, electronics, and gearing into a compact, application-specific solution
  • Custom frameless motor assembly: Axial flux or Megaflux motor integrated into a custom housing, highlighting Allient’s capability to deliver fully engineered, application-ready frameless motor assemblies
