Regal Rexnord Corp. and its portfolio of motion control brands will be exhibiting at the Robotics Summit & Expo 2026 from May 27 to 28 in Boston.

The Milwaukee-based company plans to demonstrate how its unified motion ecosystem supports modern robotic system design—without added complexity. At Booth 542, Regal Rexnord will show systems from its entire portfolio of leading motion brands:

  • Kollmorgen – Servo motors, drives, and advanced motion control for precision and reliability
  • Portescap – Miniature and specialty motors for compact, high-performance robotic joints
  • Thomson – Linear actuators, guides, and positioning systems for robust linear motion
  • Warner Electric – Brakes and clutches for safe stops and controlled motion
  • Berg – Precision gearing solutions for demanding robotics applications

Together, these technologies span the full robotic motion stack. They enable engineers to deploy fully integrated systems or select individual components based on application requirements.

Learn how to handle motion control in harsh environments

On Wednesday, May 27, at 2:45 p.m. ET, Kevin Picard, an application engineer at Kollmorgen, and Anthony Smith, engineering director at Thomson, will present on “Reliable Field Robotics Actuation and Motion Control in Harsh Environments.”

It’s difficult to design robots for outdoor and extreme environments. Their motion systems must endure heat, moisture, dust, vibration, and corrosion—without sacrificing precision or reliability. In this technical session, Regal Rexnord experts will examine how advancements in electric linear actuators and servo systems are enabling a new generation of robust, high‑performance field robotics.

Attendees can learn how modern electric motion solutions provide a durable, precise alternative to traditional technologies in harsh conditions, delivering consistent performance where reliability is critical.

The session will provide practical guidance on:

  • Designing motion systems that maintain safety and performance in extreme environments
  • Selecting and validating components for field robotics in agriculture, defense, and energy applications
  • Applying best practices for cleanability, corrosion resistance, and mechanical resilience in outdoor robotic platforms

Register for the Robotics Summit & Expo today

Registration is now open for the Robotics Summit & Expo, the world’s leading technical event for commercial robotics developers. The event at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center is produced by The Robot Report and WTWH Media.

The show will have more than 50 sessions in tracks on artificial intelligence, design and development, enabling technologies, healthcare, and logistics. The Engineering Theater on the show floor will also feature presentations by industry experts.

More than 70 speakers are confirmed from companies such as Fictiv, Harmonic Drive, maxon, PickNik Robotics, RealSense, Tesla, the Toyota Research Institute, and more.

The Robotics Summit will also feature a number of networking opportunities. They include a Mix & Mingle Networking Reception after the first day of the show and the ticketed RBR50 Awards Dinner.

The Robotics Summit & Expo is co-located with DeviceTalks Boston, which focuses on medical devices.
