Teledyne Technologies Acquires BlueView

BlueView Technologies, a provider of underwater vision systems for many underwater robotics providers, announced that it would be acquired by Teledyne effective in July.

BlueView delivers instrumentation for underwater vision, monitoring, survey, detection and navigation and has pioneered new technologies in compact forward-looking imaging sonar, microbathymetry systems and 3D scanning sonar.

Teledyne RD Instruments, itself a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies, will be the acquiring agent.

Sale prices was not announced.
