We first told you about YI Technology’s Erida tricopter back in August 2016. The company claims it’s the world’s fastest tricopter as it tops out at 75 MPH and can stay in the air for up to 40 minutes.
At CES 2017, YI is putting its money where it’s mouth is at it will conduct its first live demos in the United States. The demos will take place at two locations during CES: at the company’s booth (#46324) at Tech West (The Sands) and at Pepcom’s Digital Experience! on January 4 from 7pm – 10:30pm at The Mirage Hotel.

YI says the Erida tricopter can reach 75 MPH thanks to its durable and lightweight frame that’s made of 100 percent carbon fiber. And two of the three propellers rotate and fold back to make it easier to travel with Erida.
YI is best known for its 4K Action Camera that combines 4K video recording at 30 fps for up to 120 minutes, so that, of course, is featured on the Erida tricopter. The YI Erida features a motorized gimbal to stabilize the on-board 4K camera.
