One of the major concerns surrounding drones is the invasion of privacy.
Apparently that concern isn’t just for humans, it’s for animals, too.
A 23-year-old chimpanzee named Tushi had an unpleasant encounter with a drone recently at the Royal Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem, a city in the Netherlands. The zoo sent in a drone to get a close-up view of how the 14 apes live. But Tushi wanted none of that.
Waiting patiently in a tree, Tushi smashes the drone out of the air with a stick.
The zoo tells the Associated Press “we can write the drone off. It cost about 2,000 euros ($2,100). Then again, it doesn’t surprise that Tushi did this. She is very handy with sticks.”
