Warehouse operators and third-party logistics providers are turning to automation to be more efficient, flexible, and competitive in the face of accelerating customer demand, labor shortages, and trade disruptions. Mobile robots are a key part of the solution, enabling faster order fulfillment.

What are the considerations for adopting, scaling, and managing fleets of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), self-driving forklifts, and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs)? How do they work with existing processes, products, and staffers?

In this free webinar at 12:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, industry experts will explain how the latest mobile robots are improving productivity, inventory management, and safety. They will also discuss how these systems and the software to optimize them are addressing a widening range of material handling applications.

As mobile robots get both smarter and more specialized, attendees can learn about:

  • How to identify workflows to automate, from induction and picking to palletizing
  • Mobile robot options, such as heavy-duty AMRs, goods-to-person (G2P) shuttles, very narrow aisle (VNA) lifts, and mobile manipulators
  • How some mobile robots offer alternatives to automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS)
  • The role of orchestration software and interoperability with other equipment
  • The importance of knowing your environment and keeping humans “in the loop”
  • How mobile robots are enabling greater visibility, saving money, and providing data for digital twins and AI

Register now to attend and ask questions live during this panel discussion! It will be available on demand after the broadcast.

About the experts on mobile robots

Jake Heldenberg of Vanderlande is an expert in mobile robots.

Jake Heldenberg is the director of sales engineering for North American warehouse solutions at Vanderlande.
