Cloud software company Tend plans to launch its new cloud-based robot monitoring and analysis application, in.view, at this week’s RoboBusiness conference.
The platform allows for remote monitoring of industrial robots as well as analysis of their real-time performance through a mobile application. Through the app, users can access live and historic video footage of the robots, review key performance indicators and set up alert notifications for when the production line experiences an issue.
The remote access and video helps those working on the robots to ensure the machines continue working seamlessly and to address and troubleshoot issues even when they’re not onsite.
“in.view is a breakthrough for manufacturers and systems integrators of all sizes,” CEO Mark Silliman said in a press release. “It gives operators and plant managers 24×7 access to valuable insights about their production performance, without requiring the hardware, sensors or extensive integration involved with other smart manufacturing solutions.”
According to the company, a group of systems integrators and large, distributed manufacturing organizations have already implemented in.view. The platform is available for $250 per month.
