The new year kicked off with CES, and the momentum continued with companies hitting milestones and debuting new systems. 

Walmart and Wing plans to establish a network of over 270 drone delivery locations by 2027, stretching from Los Angeles to Miami.

The new drone service will launch at 100 stores, building on Wing and Walmart’s operations in Northwest Arkansas and Dallas-Fort Worth.

Beginning today, when certain DoorDash customers in Texas select drone delivery, their order will be delivered via Wing.

Wing and Serve said their collaboration will enable food pick-up in wider urban areas over a six-mile radius.

Wing says the updated exemptions for its detect and avoid approach will allow it to safely scale in the US.
