The companies plan to produce a fleet of IONIQ 5 robotaxis equipped with Waymo’s technology to support Waymo One’s growth.

The company said the Nuro Driver will eventually enable up to Level 4 autonomous passenger vehicles in addition to goods delivery.

Waymo plans to widen its robotaxi service area, while Zoox said it will begin testing autonomous vehicles in two more cities.
