NASA received images of Ingenuity’s Jan. 18 flight this week that showed one or more of its rotor blades had been damaged during landing. 

Ingenuity’s flight took place on April 26, but mission controllers lost contact when the helicopter descended toward the Martian surface.

Update will modify the process by which two flight controllers boot up, allowing the hardware and software to safely transition to the flight state.
