Glacier’s robots promise to help the circular economy become more efficient and to improve sustainability.

Glacier said this investment comes after recycling robot deployments in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, and Phoenix.

Glacier has also announced that it will be collaborating with Amazon to enhance traceability and recovery processes for recyclables.

Glacier’s robots are able to sort over 30 different item types, and are 60% less expensive than other sortation robots.
