LIG Nex1 said the acquisition will foster robotics innovations such as the Q-UGV quadruped for both industrial and defense markets.

LIG Nex1 and a partner have offered to acquire 60% of industrial and defense supplier Ghost Robotics, which is valued at $400 million.

Ghost Robotics said “Boston Dynamics is drawing on their considerably larger resources to litigate instead of innovate.”

Ghost Robotics’ Vision 60 quadruped robot can now be equipped with Onyx Industries’ Nautical Autonomous Unmanned Tail to make it amphibious.
