Small size, big performance industrial cameras for precise error-proofing

By robottf | June 27, 2016

The new CX series industrial cameras from Baumer are specifically designed to easily handle tough quality and error-proofing challenges in the Assembly industry. The broad range of sensor models includes both GigE and USB 3.0 cameras with resolutions from VGA to 5 Megapixel. unnamed

Measuring only 29 x 29 mm, these cameras feature one of the smallest designs available on the market. They fit easily into even the narrowest installation environments yet provide a high degree of flexibility. Camera events and the integrated image memory ensure synchronized process control for long-term stability in image evaluation. The GigE models with Burst Mode enable higher frame rates than provided by the interface bandwidth which gives the user a wide application potential with all the benefits of GigE Vision. The cameras have an operational housing temperature of up to 65 °C for excellent image quality even in diverse applications.

The USB cameras utilize only a single cable for high data transmission rates and easy integration by Plug & Play functionality. GigE cameras with 12 to 24 V power supply or PoE (Power over Ethernet) perfectly comply with conventional automation requirements.
