Silicon Valley Robotics joins Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum as strategic partner

By The Robot Report Staff | November 27, 2019

Silicon Valley

Business-to-business publisher WTWH Media has announced that Silicon Valley Robotics will serve as the exclusive strategic partner for the inaugural Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum. The conference and expo, which takes place Dec. 9-10, 2019, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, is focused on easing, speeding, and improving the design, development, and manufacture of healthcare robotics products and services.

“Silicon Valley is a hotbed for robotics innovation, investment, and commercialization, and it is recognized globally as a leading robotics cluster,” stated Dan Kara, vice president of robotics at WTWH Media. “Silicon Valley is also a major healthcare technologies center and is home to prominent healthcare robotics companies such as Intuitive Surgical, Auris Health, Verb Surgical, and Think Surgical. We are delighted to have Silicon Valley Robotics, which represents the Northern California robotics cluster, as the strategic partner for the Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum, and to locate the event in the heart of Silicon Valley.”

“We are thrilled to support the Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum as strategic partner,” noted Andra Keay, managing director of Silicon Valley Robotics. “Improving healthcare is one of the most important tasks for robotics systems. Silicon Valley is at the forefront of robotics and healthcare innovation, which is why it is critical that Silicon Valley Robotics backs the first engineering event focused on the development of the next generation of commercial healthcare robotics systems.”
