Entertainment users of robots include movie studios (e.g., “Gravity”), entertainers (e.g., Blue Man Group), rides (Disney Epcot Center), resorts (Wynn) and bartenders (Bicardi and Coca Cola).

The entertainment aspect is particularly interesting because:
- It’s a fun use of new technologies
- It lets creative minds find new uses for robots, e.g., architecture, design and construction
- As more companies enter the industry and find niche markets for their wares, the public and media will broadcast their achievements worldwide and stimulate even more uses for robots in an ever-broadening range of our everyday lives.
KUKA isn’t the only player in the entertainment space; there are many small robot companies involved.
