Robotics Summit & Expo announces full conference agenda

By The Robot Report Staff | March 6, 2019

The Robotics Summit & Expo, produced by The Robot Report and WTWH Media, today announced the full conference agenda for the June 5-6 event at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. The second annual international event will focus on the design, development, and manufacture of commercial-class robots.

Engineers, academics, and integrators will be able to learn from the full conference program of keynotes and general sessions. This year’s summit will examine how artificial intelligence, the cloud, 5G, and other technologies and services are making robots smarter and more connected than ever.

Register for the Robotics Summit & Expo by March 29 to take advantage of early-bird pricing for the full conference.

Robotics Summit to focus on tools, developers, design, and more

The 2019 conference will include expert presenters and panelists in four tracks. One will discuss the core technologies of robotics, including sensors, cognitive systems, and actuators and motors.

The systems design and development track will focus on methodologies, libraries, and standards for developers of robots, drones, and other autonomous systems.

Sessions and panels in the third track will discuss manufacturability, production, and distribution of commercial robots. The keys to successfully scaling up robot production include optimizing design, managing the supply chain, and identifying the best partners and markets.

A bonus track will look at topics such as robotics clusters around the world, transitioning between markets, protecting intellectual property, and safety standards.

Beyond the keynotes and full conference sessions, the Robotics Summit & Expo will provide attendees with educational workshops, 70-plus exhibits and demonstrations on the expo show floor, and fun receptions for networking. This year’s event is collocated with DeviceTalks Boston.
