Robotics Summit & Expo call for presentations ends today

By Eugene Demaitre | April 13, 2020

Robotics Summit & Expo

CLEVELAND and BOSTON — Business-to-business publisher WTWH Media today announced that the call for presentations for the Robotics Summit & Expo is now open. The event takes place Sept. 24-25, 2020, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.

The Robotics Summit & Expo focuses on the technical issues involved with the design, development, manufacture, and delivery of commercial robotics systems. The event is seeking thought-provoking sessions from compelling speakers in each of the following three tracks:

  • Technologies, tools, and platforms: Covers the latest advances in the ‘core’ technology that are common to all classes of robots.
  • Design and development: This focuses on the latest technologies, tools and methodologies to simulate, prototype and build commercial robots.
  • Manufacturability, production, and distribution: Discusses issues related to professional design and volume production of commercial class robotics technologies and products.

Submission form

The form for submitting speaking proposals online can be found here. Complete track descriptions and topics can be found here. The entry deadline for submitting speaker proposals is April 14.

All speakers receive two complimentary registrations, granting them and a guest admission to the full conference program, exhibition hall and networking events.

“The Robotics Summit & Expo brings together industry leaders to share their experiences and ideas to advance robotics technologies,” said Steve Crowe, co-chair of the Robotics Summit & Expo and editor of The Robot Report. “Robotics is spreading into multiple industries, and the Robotics Summit & Expo is the premier event for understanding how to design, develop, manufacture, and deploy commercial-class robotics systems.”

Co-located events

The Robotics Summit & Expo will again double the size of its expo floor and increase attendance to 2,000-plus attendees. In addition, it will co-locate with the Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum, the leading event dedicated to the design and development of healthcare robotics systems, and DeviceTalks Boston, the premier event for medical technology professionals, which is in its ninth year.
