The search is on: Applications for promising robotics startups closing soon

By Brianna Wessling | August 22, 2025

Robotics Startup Radar 2025.The Robot Report is launching a new program: the Robotics Startup Radar. It will highlight unique and noteworthy robotics startups that we believe our readers should keep an eye on in the years to come.

The robotics industry moves rapidly. Every year, dozens of startups emerge, all claiming they’re developing groundbreaking, industry-changing technology. With our latest offering, we’ll introduce our readers to interesting startups that may dominate headlines in the coming years.

Today, we’re opening submissions for our inaugural 2025 list. We’re looking for early-stage robotics companies with novel full systems, enabling technologies, or business approaches. The system can target any industry or application. Submissions are due Friday, August 29, 2025.

Once submissions close, our editorial team will carefully consider each submission. Submitting does not guarantee a startup a spot on the final list.

If you’re a robotics founder, the Robotics Startup Radar could be an opportunity to bring your technology to the attention of high-profile investors, experienced engineers, and other trailblazing founders.

Startups that make the cut will receive digital assets, allowing them to promote the honor on their site. We will also will distribute a press release featuring the full list to major newswires, as well as through WTWH Media’s extensive social media channels.

Finally, The Robot Report and Automated Warehouse will list and profile each of the startups, and the sites will cover their announcements throughout the year.

For any questions related to the 2025 Robotics Startup Radar, please contact Brianna Wessling. For sponsorship information, contact Courtney Nagle.
