The last two Super Bowls have set records for the most-watched program in U.S. history. NBC currently holds the record, with 114.4 million people tuning in for New England’s win over Seattle in 2015.
Expect the trend to continue during Super Bowl 50 between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos. Many viewers will be fair-weather fans who are watching only to see the commercials. The going rate for a 30-second TV spot on CBS: nearly $5 million.
The commercials gets crazier each year, and there have been a number of robot-related advertisements that debuted over the years during the Super Bowl. Will there be an Amazon delivery drone commercial this year? What about a self-driving car promo or an educational spot about flying drones?
We’ll have to wait and see, but we thought it’d be fun to take a look at and rank the Super Bowl robot commercials. Vote in our interactive poll below to help us rank the best robot ads. The list will re-order in real-time based on the votes.
Enjoy the game, and keep your eyes out for more robot commercials!
