PHD Inc. and YRG Inc. will be exhibiting at Automate 2019. Automate takes place April 8-11, 2019, at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. Please visit us in Booth 7320.
In addition to its traditional pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators designed for industrial automation, PHD will show both the UR5e and the UR5 from Universal Robots. The UR5 will be mounted on the saddle/carriage of a two-meter-long PHD Series ESU Electric Base Slide traveling back and forth simulating pick and place on both sides of the slide.
The UR5e is showcased with the new UR+ certified Pneu-Connect dual gripper in a hands-on demo showing ease of programming and capabilities of the UR, the gripper with Freedrive, and the jaw position sensing of the pneumatic gripper’s analog sensor.
Also, be sure to visit the Pneu-Connect demos in Booth 7154, the Universal Robots booth at Automate, as well as Productive Robotics at Booth N6957 at ProMat from April 8-11. The demonstrations will feature the analog sensor, now available for the Series GRH kits, and the Pneu-Connect X2 kits.
The kits provide two PHD grippers mounted to the UR collaborative robot for maximum efficiency in automation performance. The X2 dual-gripper kits include the Freedrive feature, which interfaces with the UR for easy positioning and programming.
Yahama’s YRG unit will exhibit its standard product line, including single axis robots and a broad selection of SCARA robots. The company will also show its economy line of stepper motors and actuators used for automated processes. YRG’s dancing disco SCARA robot will also be on display.
