Interact Analysis expects the mobile robot market to reach an installed base of over 4 million mobile robots by the end of 2027.
The mobile robot market is a quickly growing area of robotics. Interact Analysis, a technology-focused research firm, expects the mobile robot market to reach an installed base of over 4 million mobile robots by the end of 2027. Developing mobile robots, however, can be costly and time-consuming.
At RoboBusiness, which takes place in Santa Clara, CA on October 18-19, hear from five mobile robot experts about the fundamentals of designing autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). This panel will focus on the fundamental principles of designing autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). It will cover key aspects such as locomotion, perception, planning, control, and intelligence. Attendees will hear from industry leaders who will also emphasize the significance of safety, robustness, and scalability in design, providing a comprehensive understanding of the foundational concepts needed for successfully developing AMRs for various applications.
The panel will feature:
- Joel Hagberg is the head of Product Management and Marketing at Intel. Hagberg leads the Intel RealSense Marketing team, Product Management, and Customer Support teams. He joined Intel Corporation in 2018, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in leading teams focused on Product Management, Product Marketing, and Business Development.
- Prabhakar Gowrisankaran is the VP of Engineering and Strategy at Performance Motion Devices. There, he’s responsible for future-proofing PMD and its customers who innovate in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Amir Bousani is the co-founder and CEO of RGo Robotics, which is pioneering an artificial perception technology that enables mobile robots to understand complex surroundings and operate autonomously just like humans. Prior to founding RGo Robotics, Bousani led the Advanced Technologies and System Innovation Groups at Intel RealSense.
- Ted Larson is the CEO of OLogic, a research and development outsourcing company with a focus on robotics. Larson is a computer software and electronics expert with 30+ years of experience designing and building commercial products. Prior to OLogic, he founded an internet software company called the Urbanite Network, a web server content publishing platform for media customers.
- Mike Oitzman is an Editor in WTWH’s Robotics Group and founder of the Mobile Robot Guide. Oitzman is a robotics industry veteran with 25-plus years of experience at various high-tech companies in the roles of marketing, sales, and product management.
RoboBusiness is the leading event focused on developing commercial robots. There will be 60-plus speakers, 100-plus exhibitors and demos on the expo floor, networking receptions, the Pitchfire Robotics Startup Competition and more. You can check out the current list of speakers, to which more will be added.
RoboBusiness will be co-located with the Field Robotics Engineering Forum, an event focused on successfully developing robots that operate in wide-ranging, outdoor, dynamic environments.
Also co-located with RoboBusiness is DeviceTalks West, the premier industry event for medical technology professionals, currently in its ninth year. Both events attract engineering and business professionals from a broad range of healthcare and medical technology backgrounds.
