Distribution centers and warehouses are among the hottest areas for robotics and automation, with plenty of room for adoption of a variety of systems. Before robots can address industry pain points, developers, integrators, and end users need to understand the importance of motion-control technologies such as gearboxes to solving those problems.

In this free webinar at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, we’ll examine the latest requirements for gearing, drives, and controllers, as they enable applications such as piece picking and palletizing. These subsystems must be reliable for accuracy, repeatability, and long-term use — and the corresponding return on investment.

We’ll also look at the current and emerging options as robotic form factors both converge and continue to specialize. What are the market opportunities? Where is there still room for technology improvement? We’ll also share the results of a recent survey and trends to watch.

In this webinar, attendees can learn about:

  • What types of warehouse robots are in demand
  • Requirements for best-in-class motion control and gearboxes
  • Challenges and opportunities, from components to entire warehouses
  • Considerations for selecting a supplier or partner
  • The tension between specialization and general-purpose automation

Register now to get your questions answered live! This webinar will also be viewable on demand after the initial broadcast.
