The E52Q Pancake style has an extended sensing range to 100mm, and the E56 Cube style has an extended sensing range to 40mm.
Both inductive sensors use “auto-configure” output technology, which auto-detects if the sensor has been wired for NPN(sinking) or PNP(sourcing), and switches the sensor to the appropriate mode without user intervention.
