WTWH Media has issued a call for presentations for the second annual Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum, which is scheduled for Sept. 24-25, 2020, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Submissions are due May 1, 2020.

As demand increases worldwide for healthcare services, the opportunities and challenges for automation also increase. A multidisciplinary approach is needed for safe, effective, and commercially viable intelligent systems.

The Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum is the premiere conference and exposition focused on the design, development, and manufacture of healthcare systems. It will focus on assistive, medical, surgical, therapeutic, and other next-generation technologies.

Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum to discuss design, development

The keynotes, sessions, panels, and expo floor at the forum are intended to help technical professionals successfully develop and bring to market healthcare systems. Forum content will focus on the hardware and software, services, and best practices used in healthcare applications.

WTWH is seeking informative presentations delivered by compelling speakers who can share their healthcare robotics insights, analyses, and experiences in each of the following tracks:

  • Enabling Technologies
  • Tools and Platforms
  • Design and Development
  • Management and Opportunity

See more detailed descriptions of the tracks here.

“We expect investments in healthcare robotics to continue growing, and engineers, clinicians, and businesspeople must collaborate to address diverse global demands,” said Eugene Demaitre, co-chair of the Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum. “Boston is a hub for both robotics and healthcare, and I look forward to learning from industry leaders about new technologies and applications.”

All speakers will receive a complimentary full registration, granting admission to all keynotes, general sessions, panels, and special events, including all breakfasts, lunches, and receptions. In addition, speakers will receive complimentary guest registrations for up to two attendees.

Prospective speakers should submit their proposals by May 1, 2020. To submit a proposal, please fill out this form.

Co-located events

The Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum will also feature demonstrations from leading healthcare robotics providers, plus networking opportunities. It will be co-located with the third annual Robotics Summit & Expo, the premiere conference for the design and development of commercial robots, and medical device event DeviceTalks Boston.
