Epson Robots recently signed Gibson Engineering as an official distributor of its automation solutions. Founded in 1945, Gibson Engineering has a diverse customer base in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, from life sciences and plastics manufacturers to OEM machine builders.
As the sense of urgency for manufacturing projects in these industries accelerates, this new partnership offers Gibson Engineering customers access to Epson’s product lineup to simplify automation installs while meeting project time frames.

In October 2021, Epson announced a no-code programming language called Epson RC+ Express. The visual-based teaching environment offers faster programming of Epson’s SCARA robots for users who have little-to-no programming experience.
Developed for Epson T-Series All-in-One and LS-B Series SCARA robots, Epson RC+ Express features a visual-based teaching environment that integrates a block-style format. Epson said it includes ready-to-use templates that allow users to create common pick-and-place, palletizing and depalletizing applications.
