eInfochips, an Arrow Electronics company and a provider of product engineering and digital transformation services, announced a strategic collaboration with InOrbit, a provider of AI-powered robot orchestration. The partners will combine eInfochips’ expertise in edge-to-cloud robotics development and integration with InOrbit Space Intelligence, a vendor-agnostic robot operations platform, to deliver scalable and optimized solutions for various industries.

The companies said their collaboration addresses the demand for large-scale autonomous mobile robot (AMR) deployments in warehouses, industrial hubs, large factories, and other indoor environments. Supported by the eInfochips Robotics Center of Excellence (CoE), they will support the full robotics stack, including hardware design, power and motor control, sensor fusion, edge AI, functional safety and security, and digital twins.

The InOrbit Space Intelligence platform complements this by offering critical tools for large-scale observability, real-time incident management and operations, multi-vehicle orchestration, and continuous performance optimization. Together, the companies said they will enable businesses to deploy diverse AMR fleets, increasing flexibility and achieving true operational scale.

eInfochips has expertise in AI, deployment

The integrated offering is intended to reduce complexity and time-to-market for businesses looking to automate repetitive tasks like material handling, goods delivery, cleaning, and sorting. It offers a “single pane of glass” to manage and monitor entire fleets across multiple locations and geographies, helping ensure seamless operation and efficiency, said InOrbit and eInfochips.

eInfochips has established its CoE and assembled a team of subject-matter experts specializing in hardware design, sensor integration, AI and machine learning, and camera development. As a partner to platform providers such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and NXP, the company has successfully developed various proofs-of-concept (PoCs) by using robotics-specific hardware and software toolchains offered by these companies.

“We’re excited to collaborate with InOrbit to offer our customers comprehensive robotics deployment services at scale,” said Barrie Mullins, assistant vice president, eInfochips. “By combining our edge-to-cloud design expertise with InOrbit’s powerful Space Intelligence platform, we’re significantly reducing the time-to-market for businesses looking to deploy and manage AMR fleets.”

San Jose, Calif.-based eInfochips offers digital transformation and technology solutions to global enterprises. With expertise across AI, the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, the company said it delivers end-to-end services, from concept to deployment. It serves diverse industries including aerospace, automotive, healthcare, industrial automation, and consumer electronics.

InOrbit orchestrates across industries

“eInfochips’ deep understanding of robotics and global integration capabilities makes them an ideal partner for InOrbit,” said Florian Pestoni, founder and CEO of InOrbit. “This collaboration is a critical step in making advanced multi-vendor, multi-site deployments a reality. By combining our strengths, we’re empowering enterprises across industries to optimize their physical operations, ensuring that people and robots work better, together.”

Mountain View, Calif.-based InOrbit focuses on AI-powered robot orchestration. The venture-backed company‘s customers range from startups to Fortune 500 enterprise companies, with thousands of robots around the world connected to the InOrbit platform.

InOrbit’s stated mission is to unleash the power of every robot and to build a world where humans, robots and AI work together to improve productivity and empower people to reach new heights. It recently closed its Series A funding round, which it said it will use to accelerate the development of its platform and expand its presence across key industries, including manufacturing, logistics, retail, and hospitality.

The companies plan to showcase their joint offering at RoboBusiness 2025, which will be next week at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Attendees can visit the joint booth for a live demonstration of eInfochips and InOrbit’s integrated fleet management capabilities.
