Just how dangerous are drones? Pretty dangerous, if you ask aspiring model Jess Adams.
According to TMZ, Adams was doing a clothing shoot in Malibu as a favor for a friend who’s a photographer. As you can see in the above video, the drone is shooting Adams close-up before it smashes into her face.
Adams said she doesn’t think the incident was caused by pilot error, but rather by a gust of wind that caused the drone to fly into her face.
She reportedly went to the ER for precautionary measures, but she did suffer a black eye and a few scrapes and bruises, as you can see in the photo below. Things could’ve been much worse, just ask Enrique Iglesias.
Adams is being a good sport about it, telling TMZ that “if you’re gonna get hit in the face with a drone, [you] better at least be able to watch it and die laughing.”
She posted the photo of herself with the black eye to her Instagram account saying, “My future children will never understand my fear of flying objects, or robots.”
It was her first time working with a drone – and probably her last.
