BSC Industries motion control solutions on display at Robotics Summit

By The Robot Report Staff | May 3, 2018

BSC Industries, a Canton, Mass.-based independent distributor of bearings, power transmission products, and electrical and automation products, will be demoing the latest solutions from its partners at the Robotics Summit & Showcase in booth 200.

Taking place May 23-24 in Boston, the Robotics Summit is a multifaceted educational event dedicated to addressing the technical issues involved with developing commercial robotics and intelligent systems. Register by May 4 to save 20 percent with early bird registration. Click here to view the exhibitor directory for the Robotics Summit.

Here’s a quick look at some of the technologies BSC Industries will be displaying in booth 200 at the Robotics Summit.

BSC Industries

KocoMotion Ball Screw Linear Actuator

A ball screw linear actuator is a linear actuator combined with a ball screw in a manner that results in reduced form factor, as compared to typical linear actuators. This reduced form factor is accomplished by mounting the linear actuator directly onto the motor shaft, eliminating the need for a coupling to accomplish this configuration.

BSC Industries

Kaydon Thin Section Bearings

Kaydon Reali-Slim thin section hybrid bearings are specifically engineered for service in the most severe or extreme environments. Tremendous benefits in performance can be obtained by matching not just size but also material to the application.

These alternative race and ball materials interact differently from traditional chrome steel bearings. Kaydon stainless steel bearings are used where high precision and corrosion resistance are required.

BSC Industries

Cone Drive Harmonic Solutions

Cone Drive’s long history of precision motion control technology and advanced product development is now available for the robotics industry. BSC Industries is proud to offer their complete Harmonic Solutions product line with industry leading precision for the most demanding robotic applications.
