DIN power supply provider PULS Power acquires the wireless power business of Wiferion, to create a new PULS Wireless division.

Tesla has plans to acquire Wiferion, a source who wished to remain anonymous told The Robot Report.

Wiferion has announced the release of the etaLINK 1000, the latest and smallest edition to its line of robot charging systems.

Wiferion is a provider of mobile, wireless power supplies for AGVs and AMRs.

Powermat said the system offers up to 300W of power and eliminates the need for direct contact with pogo-pins entirely.

Powermat develops wireless charging based on magnetic induction. Its platform for robotics provides up to 600W of wireless power.

Once a Jackal or Husky robot navigates to within several centimeters of a charging station, power is automatically delivered through the air.
